Romantic Prague.

Long time ago before the formation of SOCAN Canadian Performing Rights organization to what I am now a member I was a member of PRO - CAN what eventually merged with the CAPEC and SOCAN became to be born.
I was living in the city of Squamish 32km North West from Vancouver in British Columbia.
At one time we did had a Conference of Pro - Can in Vancouver our President was still Czech born mr Jan Matejcek.
I did met at athat conference very attractive young Canadian Composer - Maureene Ahern who made a interest in collaborating with me on some of my song lyrics.
Maureene was living in Victoria, B.C. and had some time before returning back home and so did I. And so we did decided to go to for coffee so we can talk privately.
On our way Maureene was asking me about the Prague and I did told her about how I did had a girlfriend in Prague who was a student of Conservatory of Music and how we did used to go to the Tynsky Chram where we did get a long massive iron keys to the St Havel Cathedral. Where we did lock our selves in it and my girlfriend did practice piano in it.
Maureene did ask me to write a song about it what I did and to what I still belief was my best Canadian recording to this day.
HERE it IS.

This Cathedral is for Lovers.
music Maureene Ahern -  SOCAN
words Miroslav Vlcek - SOCAN
=====================
There is a strong smell of incense in the hollow chambers
they claim that Almighty is near to you in here.
And everywhere is darkness sun can not reach true
this Cathedral is for Lovers so this is why I am in here with you.

This Cathedral is for Lovers so give me one more kiss
this Cathedral is for Lovers I am telling you it is.

Twelve Apostles are looking down
on your lovely face.                             ( handsome - female vocals )
I like so much to be here with you
in this most unlikely place.
And if you need a blessing I will gladly
give you one.
I am far from the Preacher                   ( you are far - female vocals )
and you are not a Nun.                          ( I am not - female vocals )

And everywhere is - - - -
